Experience low wear, thanks to our unique rock-on-rock crushing principle.
Unlike other types of impact crushers, vertical shaft impact crushers (VSI) are designed with a unique rock-on-rock crushing principle, which significantly reduces the wear costs while offering superior cubical shape for the best quality fine aggregate production. VSI crushers are usually used in the final stages of the crushing process to shape flat material in quarries and to prepare materials for grinding in the mining industry. In addition to being our most efficient crushers with the lowest operational costs, vertical shaft impact crushers tolerate moisture and stickiness, and have a drying effect on the material, which reduces the drying costs in cases where dry products are required.
MVI Series crushers have a cascading system that allows the material to flow into the crusher both from the rotor and the cascade, creating seamless combination. This provides more interparticle action, better cubical shape and higher productivity. Also, a cascading system enables our customers to exert superior control over product size and shape.
The hydraulic lifter provides quick and easy access during maintenance and servicing.
Our enhanced lower chute and liners mean longer part life. The tungsten carbide long-life wear parts are made in Germany.

Meka’s MVI Series vertical shaft impact crushers are designed to guarantee the lowest wear part cost for our customers. MVI Series crushers use the velocity created by a rotor turning at high speed to crush the materials. The materials thrown by the rotor fill the stone boxes on the inner wall of crusher, then they are crushed using rock-on-rock collision.
MVI Series vertical shaft crushers are more resistant to high moisture and sticky material than most conventional crushers. The appropriate degree of moisture helps to fill stone boxes better in both the crushing chamber and the rotor, meaning less wear part cost. Also, MVI Series crushers have a drying effect on the material, which reduces drying costs in cases where a dry product is required, such as at asphalt plants.
